CAID statement on Crown Agents Limited
CAID remains operational and independent.
1 August 2024 — We have been informed that Crown Agents Limited, CAID’s sole member, is entering liquidation. It is extremely sad and distressing to hear of this news given our productive and impactful relationship since 2020 which has led to providing over £12m of humanitarian relief through the COVID19 crisis, Ukraine war, earthquake in Syria/Turkey and famine in Tigray.
CAID remains in operation. All current trustees are independent of Crown Agents Limited.
Our continuing independence
As an independent subsidiary of Crown Agents Limited and as a charity, CAID has always maintained a separate financial and governance structure. We are a separate registered charitable company, registration number 12599517 (England and Wales), charity registration number 1192249.
