Keith Kibirango

Keith is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Crown Agents International Development (CAID), whilst at the same time holding the position of Director of Philanthropy and Private Sector Engagement for the Crown Agents Group.Keith has more than twenty years of social impact and fundraising experience in the UK, Europe and internationally. He is a leading global philanthropy expert who has raised more than £50 million in donations for socially focused causes across Africa, Europe and internationally. Keith is a British Ugandan lawyer, having studied his first law degree at Makerere University, followed by a master’s degree at the London School of Economics. He provided legal aid at FIDA(U), Uganda’s largest legal aid clinic, and served as Director of the Uganda Law Society. In the UK, Keith held several leadership positions at leading charities such as Ark Schools, which provides education to disadvantaged children; Tommy’s, the pregnancy charity; and JUSTICE, a renowned legal membership charity. As Head of Africa Philanthropy at Save the Children UK, Keith created a philanthropic programme that directly connects with African donors – the first of its kind for any international charity, raising more than £12 million in 24 months.
